Texcel have recently been approved for the manufacture of Apple products under the MFi program
Apple’s MFi program (Made for iPhone/iPad/iPad) is a licensing program for developers of hardware and software peripherals that will work with Apple’s iPad, iPad and iPhone devices. The original program name was “Made for iPod” but has expanded over time to cover newer Apple products.
Peter Shawyer, Commercial Direct at Texcel said “Receiving this accreditation from Apple is a significant achievement and a testament to our UK manufacturing capabilities. We are now able to procure Apple MFi authentication chips in volume and use them to produce Apple approved products for customers that require data delivered to an Apple device. We are extremely proud to have been awarded this approval”
