For both Gosia and Marinella, the course was challenging, intensive and incredibly rewarding. Throughout the week they attended detailed technical lectures covering IPC standards and best practice before putting their learning into action during practical sessions. They repaired damaged PCB tracks, mounted and replaced a variety of electronic devices, learnt advanced soldering and rework techniques, and gained experience using specialist equipment designed to improve precision and consistency.
One of the biggest benefits was the opportunity to learn alongside engineers from other electronics manufacturers. Sharing experiences, observing how others approached complex repairs and seeing different problem-solving techniques provided valuable insight that they have brought back to Texcel. Exposure to new methods and technologies allows us to continually improve our own manufacturing processes and ensure we're adopting the very latest industry best practice.
