Texcel Technology Plc has been established for 40 years. Initially the company specialised in the design and manufacture of electronic ship loading computers. The original management team of William Bryce and Ken Luscombe had many years' experience working with this equipment. The company then grew into contract electronic manufacturing. The company stopped manufacturing loading computers but continued the Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS), coupled with system and circuit design.
The innovation and focused service capabilities of the business have helped to grow the company to its current size. The management team of Andy McLeod and Peter Shawyer have seen the business maintain a healthy growth, based firmly on honest partnerships with stable customers.
